  • Intimacy is so important, talk to each other about what is important to you.
  • Communication is essential; remember that not all communication is verbal. Actions speak louder.

  • Appreciate each other’s differences. You will not always agree, we all have different values and beliefs, agree to disagree.
  • Relationships have disagreements; it’s about how you resolve these that are important.
  • There is no right way for someone to love you, do what works for you, and if it isn’t working change the behaviour find a behaviour that works.
  • Communicate with emotional integrity; it is important to speak the truth, say how you feel and be open to hearing how your partner feels without judgement. Verify what you have heard, this helps clarify and avoid misunderstandings.
  • Be present, stop yourself rehashing old issues.
  • Seek counselling.
  • Be in the NOW.
  • Have Fun!
